An English carver armchair, the head-of-table chair, in solid American walnut, oiled — chocolate-brown tone with warm purple streaks. Curved scroll armrests, turned spindle back with a shaped yoke top rail, solid plank saddle seat, turned splayed legs with H-stretcher.
Solid walnut throughout, mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-turned spindles, dowel-pegged armrests, no exposed metal. Editorial European interior — lime-washed plaster, stone floor, raking daylight. Dimensions: approximately 600 mm wide × 500 mm deep × 940 mm high. Seat height 460 mm. Sold singly or as a pair to anchor a dining set.
